Les Nubians, Part Deux AND Movement!
As promised, the two Afropean beauties returned to work and play for more than a week in my fine city. The work would obviously be done in the studio. They play happened, well, all over the place. The girls' visit aligned with Movement weekend here in Detroit, so we knew the days would be packed with work, music, dancing, laughing.and very little sleep. We were soooooo right!
Like good, focused artists (LOL) we got most of the work done before the festival festivities began. It's a beautiful thing when work is fun! We were able to complete several songs and work on lyrics and melodies for a few more.
Not surprisingly, we also had a wonderful time during the Movement Festival and after parties. Much love to the DJs and people who I got to see, hear, and share some love with.
